We all do it anyway.
Putting used tissues in the washer?
Yet, our washer is supposed to handle sheets with bedwetting accidents, rags turned black, socks smelling like the devil, and super dirty undies! Moreover, it already washes snot off kids' sleeves. It even washes cloth diapers!
If your washer doesn't clean all that properly, it's worth questioning the effectiveness of your appliances.

That's exactly why our reusable tissues are designed to be used only once before washing. We don't put them back in our pockets to reuse later! We just grab another clean one.
That's also why we prefer to call our tissues "reusable tissues" instead of "handkerchiefs." We want to steer clear of any association with those old methods that might gross out many of you.
"IT'S NOT ANY MORE ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY ANYWAY"
Is that really true?
Why do we wear washable clothes then? Why do we wash dishes? We could just throw them away after use...
We wash them because it makes no sense to dispose of them. It would create unimaginable amounts of waste, not to mention the harmful impact of continually producing them to meet our daily needs.
The same goes for tissues.
Also, the myth that "it takes more water to wash them" is false. Firstly, it takes a tremendous amount of water to manufacture disposable tissues. Secondly, our tissues can be washed along with the load of rags, socks, underwear, or children's clothing we're already washing. So, it doesn't take any more water than we would have used anyway.
“IT’S COMPLICATED, IT’S A HASSLE”
We wanted to make the experience of using reusable tissues as simple and comfortable as possible. Our tissues don't require a special laundry load, nor do they need special or fancy soap.
