Order Processing Time

HOLIDAY SCHEDULE:

Here are the shipping dates during the holiday season.

Orders placed between December 19 at 10:00 AM and December 22 at 10:00 AM → shipped on December 22, 2025

Orders placed between December 22 at 10:00 AM and December 29 at 10:00 AM → shipped on December 29, 2025

Orders placed between December 29 at 10:00 AM and January 5 at 10:00 AM → shipped on January 5, 2026

👉 Return to our normal shipping times starting January 5, 2026.

Orders are usually shipped within 24 hours. Orders placed on Friday, Saturday or Sunday are shipped on Monday. Orders placed the day before a holiday are shipped the next business day.

Please note that during the holiday season and summer vacation period, processing times may be longer. If that's the case, please check the banner at the top of the site for more details.

Once shipped, parcels generally arrive within 24 to 72 hours depending on the carrier and the destination (except during the holiday period, strikes, etc. where delays may occur with certain carriers).

Cancelling or Modifying an Order

You can cancel or modify your order if it hasn’t been shipped yet. Please contact us as soon as possible at: ventes@bateaubateau.com

Free Pickup in Montreal

During checkout, you can select "Pick up" instead of "Ship".

You will then be able to pick up your order for free at our office or at La Réserve naturelle in Rosemont. You’ll receive an email when your order is ready for pickup.

📍 At our office: 9150 rue Meilleur #310A in Montreal (Chabanel area, near Marché Central)

Parking: You can stop for a few minutes in front of 9150 Meilleur.

Bus: Bus lines 146, 19, and 54 reach our office from Crémazie metro station.

  • 146 West: Stop at Legendre / Du Parc

  • 19 West: Stop at Gare Chabanel

  • 54 West: Stop at Gare Chabanel

📍 At La Réserve Naturelle: 5854 rue St-Hubert in Montreal (near Rosemont metro).

If you select La Réserve Naturelle, please note there will be an additional delay as we bring orders there after our workday.

In-Person Shopping

You're welcome to visit our office-warehouse in Montreal and shop on-site. Just make sure to come during our opening hours (always updated on Google Maps). See above for parking and public transit info.

Free Shipping

Shipping is free* within Canada for orders of $99 or more before taxes. This offer is not available to stores/distributors. Subject to change without notice.

We reserve the right to use the most affordable carrier. Our preferred carrier is ChronosExpress for the greater Montreal area and ICS for the rest of Quebec. We may also use Purolator, GLS, Canpar, Loomis, depending on the parcel's size and weight. In remote regions, we use ChitChats or Canada Post.

*In rare cases where shipping costs exceed $30-40, we will cover up to $20-25 and may contact you to pay the difference.

Express Shipping

You can choose between regular shipping (2-5 days) or Express (1-2 days). For guaranteed express delivery, we ship via Purolator Express.

With or Without Signature

You can choose delivery with or without signature.

WITH SIGNATURE
Signature ensures that the package is handed directly to you. If you live in an apartment, on a busy street, or if your order is over $200, we recommend choosing WITH signature for added security.

WITHOUT SIGNATURE
By default, packages are shipped without signature and left at your door.

Please provide a delivery address where you’re present during the day to prevent theft, and watch for your tracking number (sent by email once your package is ready).

Delivery via Canada Post

If you're delivering to a PO box or prefer Canada Post, choose this option. Delivery might be slower, but Canada Post will deliver to a post office near your home (closer than Purolator or ICS pickup points).

Envelope Shipping (No Tracking)

Envelope shipping is available for small items that fit flat in a slim envelope (like packs of 12 tissues, rolls, etc.). These are sent via Canada Post with a stamp. Delivery can take 2 to 12 business days and delays are common (we’ve seen envelopes take up to 30 days).

Thank you for your patience! We don't consider an envelope shipment lost until 30 business days have passed.

Remote Regions

In remote areas, delivery can take longer and cost more. We reserve the right to use the most affordable service, regardless of the delivery option you selected.

We usually cover the extra cost if shipping exceeds what you paid. However, if it’s over $40, we may contact you to share the shipping cost.

Redelivery / Wrong Address

If a package is returned to us or needs a new address/redelivery, we’ll gladly send it again for a $9.99+tax fee.

Shipping to Europe

We ship to Europe for orders over €150.

For orders under €150, due to new VAT regulations, please place your order on our Etsy page (Boaty):

Shipping to the United States

Orders to the US are shipped via Canada Post (USPS) or UPS. Please note that all product prices shown on our US storefront include a 40% markup to cover the new import tariffs implemented on August 28, 2025.
